Summer Reading Program 2009 for Teens: Express Yourself @ Your Library!
The big question for this year is “What is Ms. Carole going to do to top last year’s epic display of bug eating?!” The answer: You decide! Suggestions are welcome, though I’d like to get away from the competitive eating angle. If you have a creative idea for this year’s finale, send it by email to cdennis@haywoodnc.net Who knows what Ms. Carole might do this year?
Our big kick off party will be held on Saturday, June 6th, from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Mountain Circus Arts (www.mountaincircusarts.com) will be on hand to entertain the crowd. Clowns, jugglers, and fire eaters will be present to entertain you with magic and fun. Come sign up for Summer Reading. Enjoy free popcorn and sno-cones, while they last. Begin your summer reading by checking out books, movies, audiobooks or music from our collection. And did you see that about fire eaters? Seriously!
