What happens after you submit an application?

Following the application deadline, all submissions undergo thorough review, with eligible candidates being chosen for interviews. Upon selection, the chosen candidate will undergo a reference check and criminal background check as part of the pre-employment process. All new Haywood County employees are subject to a twelve to twenty-four month probationary period.
