HAYWOOD COUNTY OFFICE HOLIDAY CLOSURES
Most Haywood County Government offices will be closed Friday December 23, Monday December 26 and Tuesday, December 27 in observance of Christmas. Offices will resume normal business hours Wednesday, December 28 through Friday, December 30, and will be closed again on Monday, January 2 in observation of New Year’s Day.
The Solid Waste Department including the White Oak Landfill, the Materials Recovery Facility and the Convenience Centers will be closing at noon on Christmas Eve (Saturday, December 24) and at noon on New Year’s Eve (Saturday, December 31) but will otherwise be maintaining their standard schedule.
Allen’s Creek Park will be closed on Christmas Day (December 25).
