Phase I was completed August 2003 which included four multipurpose fields and a paved.4 mile walking path. Phase II was completed July 2004 and included a concession stand, restroom facility, paved parking, and playground.

Community partnerships provided resources to further enhance the park.  The Waynesville Rotary Club built a pavilion with assistance from AYSO Region 572 and NEO Corporation.  AYSO also provided funding for playground equipment, park benches, fencing and a storage building.
